FAQ
Yes, We do offer free estimates. When the source of the problem is unknown, we strongly encourage our clients to conduct water testing first.
With sufficient water testing & inspection we will be able to identify the water penetration locations and causes.
We start with a visual inspection and a walkthrough around the house, inside and outside. We gather all relevant info from the owner, occupants, and other professionals involved in the project. Then we begin to apply water around the house, simulating strong & heavy rain. This process is very meticulous and is performed in a way that does not cause a water problem inside the property and at the same time does identify the penetration locations.
The most obvious is physical water observed inside. However, other signs are: high relative humidity (above 60%), visible mold growth, musty smells, cracks along walls and discoloration of building materials, are just some examples of how to detect a water intrusion problem.
Water intrusion will cause immediate damage to the structure, content and the indoor air quality (mold). In order to reduce the potential damage and in order to minimize the cost of repairs, we strongly recommend you act as fast as possible.
Each insurance policy is different and homeowners should check if their policy covers waterproofing issues.
External waterproofing is designed to prevent water and/or moisture from penetrating the house.
Internal waterproofing is designed to deal with the fact that water and/or moisture is penetrating the house and offers alternative solutions.
There is no better way. Each home and each problem is different. Following sufficient water testing conclusions, we communicate with our customers all aspects: optional solutions, cost, maintenance, warranty and more.
