• Imitating rain / wet outdoor conditions by using a hose and water flow. The homeowner is responsible to provide a water source.
• Suspected entry points are tested in a specific order, allowing time to review the results before moving to a different testing area.
• Moisture readings are taken indoors and visual physical water penetrations are documented.
• At the conclusion of all findings, we write a scope of work for waterproofing. Sometimes it provides more than 1 option.
• Following water testing, and assuming there is a penetration problem, physical water can penetrate the structure. This is not enough to cause a water problem.
